Life is beautiful

The last time I wrote a blog message I was officially a size 36 … all kudos to the Heaven sent Dr Cohen!
Now a month later I am (even if I may say so myself) a bootylicious size 32. That’s from a size 40 to a size 32 in under 12 weeks!!

The recipe?
Very simple. Just combine
• a very caring Dr Gordon Cohen, Eloise, Hardus and Suzelle,
• with fresh and fragrant food from the bounty of the earth,
• a bit of exercise, and
• a determined, and a then (note the, then!) size 40 lady.
And voila!

Unlike other programmes I have tried (which failed parlously), Dr Cohen consistently showed genuine interest and concern in me and my progress and wellbeing. Not once was I chastised or judged, which was the order of the day at other weight loss clinics/institutions.

Have a scale phobia? Well, you’ll be delighted to know that none of my regular visits with Dr Cohen included a weighing session. He was well raised to never ask a lady about her weight!

A warning! Something Dr Cohen may not tell you is that you’ll need to buy a new wardrobe!

The weekly, yes I mean weekly, centimetre loss was evidence that the 12-week Detox and Wellness programme (wellness being the operational word) was true to its claims. It works!! Almost every second week I had to buy clothes to prevent the embarrassment of my clothes literally falling off my hips.

The last 10 weeks have been a reflection of a very successful and pleasurable partnership that allowed me to reveal my size 32 body that has been in hiding for years. I am overwhelmed with joy at the degree my body has transformed.

During my first consultation with Dr Cohen, he proudly said, ‘I’ll make you look like Twiggy and keep the adipose tissue in the appropriate places’… in my case my African Trademark.

And he has certainly done that … magnificently so!
