Eyebrow Transplant Surgery
Eyebrow transplant surgery is a minimally invasive procedure, using one's own hair to reconstruct natural looking eyebrows for both males and females.
It is indicated for clients that have:
- Thin eyebrows as the result of overplucking
- Loss of eyebrows as the result of chemotherapy (failure to grow back naturally)
- Eyebrow scars (scar needs to be assessed for feasibility)
- Permanent make up tattoos to create a more natural looking brow
- Assymetrical or patchy brows
Patients with certain ongoing medical conditions may not be suitable candidates.
EYEBROW TRANSPLANTATION USING THE DHI METHOD
DHI is a minimally invasive method of hair restoration
- No strips, stitches, scalpels or invasive surgery are required. Blades are not used or required during any part of the procedure.
- We use a tiny specially designed extraction tool which allows us to remove the hairs one by one without causing scarring in the area from which we are taking the hairs. The extraction tools are 0.6mm to 0.8mm in diameter.
- We place new hairs using the DHI implanter, a unique tool which ensures correct angling and directioning of the newly placed hairs. Which allows to get the perfect design to suit your face.
- The entire procedure is carried out under local anaesthesia and takes approximately 2 hours.
- Eyebrows will need monthly trimming.
